She was born July 25, 1933, in Eugene, Mo., to Jesse James and Sarah Estelle (Johnston) Farley.
She married John Billingsley on April 22, 1955.
Cerilla was an avid fisherman and looked forward to trout fishing every year at Montauk. She also enjoyed flower arranging and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Scott Billingsley and Douglas Billingsley, both of Alton; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Lisa and Wendell Aulabaugh of Alton, Cheryl and Gary Barnard of Godfrey and Valarie Crotchett of Jerseyville; a stepson and his wife, Berry and Camille Billingsley of Joliet, Ill.; eight grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; 11 great-grandchildren; and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new great-grandchild; and two brothers, John and Kenneth and wife Brenda Farley of Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Sara Mahan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
