MISHAWAKA - Shanna Leigh Coleman, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4 in her home. Shanna was born on December 28, 1969 in Warsaw to John and Wilma (Bays) Mullins. She was preceded in death by her father, John; and her grandparents who helped raise her, Ermon (Grace) Bay and grandmother, Roxey Mullins.
On February 25, 1990 in Nappanee she married Charles William Coleman. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Wilma (Jody) Craig of Warsaw; her husband, Charles; her grandfather, Bob Mullins of South Whitey, IN; aunt, Janet Mullins of South Whitely, IN; and her in-laws, Jack (Sandra) Coleman of Mishawaka. Also surviving are her god children, Amber Michelle Rantz and Michael David Rantz, whom she thought of as her own children.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, in the funeral home, with Pastor Frank Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Woodland, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Refuge, 2300 W. 6th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
