John Peter Loux Funeral Services Set for Thursday

Funeral services for John Peter Loux, 57, of 2445 St. Louis, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mr. Loux died Monday of cancer at St. Francis Hospital.

The Rev. John Hensgen will officiate at the funeral. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Culbertson Mortuary. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Loux was born at Westphalia, Kan., and came to Wichita in 1929. He was a former employe of Santa Fe Railway Co. and for 10 years had been a realtor. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society and Wichita Real Estate Board.

Survivors include his wife, Zelma; three daughters, Sister Mary Brendan, Sisters Adorers of the Most Precious Blood Convent, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Mrs. Mary Darlene Souter, 642 Stuckey Rd., and Merna Frances Loux, of the home; two sons, John E. Loux, 421 N. Mt. Carmel, and Richard C. Loux, 252 N. Knight; four sisters, Misses Marguerite and Mary Loux, both of Ottawa, Mrs. Florence McGrath, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Mildred Fisher, Springerville, Ariz.; three brothers, Raymond C., Wilfred and Arthur Loux, all of Salina, Kan.; and 16 grandchildren.
