They returned to Clayton, purchased and operated the Clayton Package Liquor Store, which they
eventually sold before moving to Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Millie; a brother, Bill; and his parents.

Survivors include his brother, Joe Bob and wife Pat of Amarillo and their children, Joe Pat, Kerri Lynne and Michael Everett; and Bill's children, Bill Jr., Diana, Randy, Kathy and Hollye.

The family would like to express their thanks to the Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice staff for their care and concern for Clarence.
