Born in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Stefan and Julia (Boborski) Firtko.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Brodheadsville.
Survivors: Wife; son, Stefan F. of Kunkletown; daughters, Suzanna of New York City and Margaret Trimmer of Califon, N.J.; sisters, Victoria Frazer and Helen, both of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
