Leo K. Fesler, prominent Indianapolis publisher and native of Morgantown, died Sunday at his home, 2136 Park Avenue, Indianapolis.

Mr. Fesler was born in Morgantown 81 years ago and was the son of Capt. Peter and Emma Fesler. He spent his boyhood in Morgantown and was later affiliated with a newspaper in Kansas before going to Indianapolis where he spent the greater part of his life.

In 1903 Mr. Fesler became publisher of the Marion County Mail, located on East Market Street, and for more than 40 years had been president and owner of the Mail Printing Co. As owner of a chain of papers in Indianapolis, he also published the Eastside Review, Eastside Press, Brightwood Shopper, Irvingtown Shopper, Northside Lookout and Northside Sun.

Mr. Fesler had always been prominent in Republican politics and at one time was auditor of Marion County.

He is survived by one son, Bailey Fesler, of Indianapolis, and three cousins in Morgan County, Mrs. Reuben Rundell and Tim Fesler of Morgantown and Mrs. George Preston of Monrovia.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Kirby Mortuary in Indianapolis. Burial will be at Morgantown.
