Mary Ellen Blankenship

Mrs. Mary Ellen Blankenship, 66, of Gilboa, died Tuesday, May 9, of an apparent heart attack suffered at home. Born may 11, 1911 in Clay County, she was a daughter of the late George and Martha Camp. She was the widow of James Franklin Blankenship who died in January of this year. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Belva.

Survivors: six sons, Charles of Jupiter, Fla., Philip of Glouster, N. J., Franklin and Clyde, both of Camden, N. J., Alva of Canvas, and Dale of Summersville; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Norman of Mt. Nebo, Mrs. Janie Auxier of Poe, and Mrs. Esta Auxier of Summersville; nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday, May 12, in the Howard C. White Funeral Chapel in Summersville, with the Rev. Bud Truman and the Rev. I. Bruce Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery at Lockwood.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 P. M. Thursday.
