Iona Ray Brookshire, 54, a resident of 2047 Knapp Road, Mount Vernon, died unexpectedly at her home Friday, July 1, 1977.
She was born in Bisbee, Ariz., March 2, 1923. She had been a Skagit County Resident for the past 11 years and was a former Sedro-Wooley resident.
She had attended the Lyman Mission Church.
Mrs Brookshire is survived by her husband, Carrol, at the family home; a daughter, Elizabeth Brummer, Lynnwood; two sisters, Joyce Staten, Salt Lake City, Utah and Iola Jones, Arizona; a brother, Lynn Ray, Texas and mother, Ona Ray, Arizona.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Washington Heart Fund.
