Frances Marie Mullins passed away on May 5, 2013 at the age of 76. She was born and married in Houston, Texas. She received a degree in English and Latin at University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Fine Arts at Texas Woman's University. A talented artist, she had several gallery exhibitions; and a love for teaching art, especially to children. She was a member of Knoxville First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, George E. Mullins and grandson Gabriel Isaac Gimbel. She is survived by son Joshua Mullins; son and daughter-in-law Lamar and Kristie Mullins; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Edward Gimbel, daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Randy Dobrowsky; grandchildren Andrew and Austin Mullins; Isaac, Sarah Emily and Zachary Mullins; Lauren Gimbel; Ryan and Brandon Dobrowsky; sisters Dorothy Stevens, Peggy Glass, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Brakebill Nursing Home for the loving care they provided. Graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston, TX, with local memorial service arrangements pending.
