In the 1920 Census for White Springs, Hamilton, Florida the following information is found: William Heath, Head, age 50, b. in Tennessee; Cassie, wife, age 43, born in Tennessee; Jessie, daughter, age 13,b. Fl.; Marion, daughter, age 11, b. Fl.; Threohia, daughter, age 4, b. Fl. William's occupation is shown as a Blacksmith, and he owns his shop. The enscription on his military grave marker shows that he was a Private in the 2nd Georgia Infantry during the Spanish/American War. His wife Cassie P. Curtis Heath is buried beside him. They married on 21 Feb 1901 in Gilmer County, Georgia ( Book 4, Page 183).
