Dolly was the Seventh child of Abraham Lincoln and Jennie M. (Stanley) Holliday, and the GrandDaughter of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday. Dolly Married Harold L. Clark on June /14/1923, and resided in Anderson, Indiana most of her Married life, and together they had two sons, Their First son was Robert L. Clark, who was born in Lima, Allen County Ohio in 1926. Their Second son was Jacky Clark, who died in 1929. In Dolly's early life living in Cicero, Indiana, Following high school, Dolly taught school for three years in North Dakota, the first two years in one room schoolhouses in the County, she chronicled this adventure in articles published by the North Dakota Historical Society Quarterly Journals, "Memoir Of A Country School Teacher," and was awarded best author for 1992. In the early 1950s, Dolly attended Ball State University and obtained her teaching credentials and taught in the Madison County School systems in Indiana until her retirement, she was also a member of the First Friends Church in Anderson, Dolly was 102 years old when she died.
