Funeral for Dana Lynet Dickerson, 18, of Bleakwood was held October 19 at Smith Funeral Home in Newton with burial in Watson Chapel Cemetery in Bleakwood.
She died Saturday, October 18, 1986 in a house fire. A native and lifelong resident of Newton County. She was a 1986 graduate of Newton High School and was employed as a Clerk at Westbrook Grocery.
Survivors include her parents, J D and Sally Dickerson of Bleakwood; grandparents, Mr and Mrs Olen Neely and Beatrice Dickerson, all of Kirbyville; a brother, Tony Dickerson; a sister, Lisa Merka of Bleakwood.
