Wilson who went by his middle name of Bowen married Nancy J. Morrison and they had 5 children. Wilson Bowen Boggs enlisted in Company B, 85th Infantry Regiment Indiana Volunteers on 16 August 1862.He was transferred to Company G at some point and was discharged on 30 June 1865 in Washington, DC.
Wilson was a carpenter for most of his life. He died of Valve disease of the Heart at his son John A. Boggs home. He was buried in the family plot that was purchased by J.A. & C.A. Boggs, B.F. McKee, A.A. Davis and Allen Park on 02/03/1896. There are no headstone on the plot.
