Patrick embraced life and loved living on Cape Cod, especially where he grew up in Falmouth Heights. He cherished the time he had with his friends, many of whom he knew since childhood. Patrick loved to ski, and he spent several winters in Stowe, Vermont. He always looked forward to boating, fishing, and the shark tournaments. Patrick enjoyed running in the Falmouth Road Race, and then hosting a party for his friends afterwards in the Heights. Patrick was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots, watching many games with his friends either in someone's home or at the stadium. He also loved going on long walks or swimming with his dog, Hadley.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason funeral home at 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Saint Patrick's Church at 511 Main Street, Falmouth. Burial will be immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pat Grant Benefit Account c/o Rockland Trust, 20 Davis Straits, Falmouth MA 02540 or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at P.O. Box 9031, Pittsfield MA 01202-9031.
