KATIE IONE GREEN, age 81, formerly a resident of Diehlstadt, died at 11:15 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis.
She was born November 9, 1928, at McClellan, Arkansas to the late Len and Edna Wood Allen
On January 31 1953 she married Malcolm J. Green Jr. who preceded her in death on December 10, 2003.
Surviving are three sons and daughters in law, Glenn and Karen Green of Cedar Hill, Ricky and Lana Green of Kelso, and Wayne and Denise Green stationed with the US Army in Afghanistan; two daughters and sons in law, Mary Elizabeth and Charles Sanders and Nancy and Earl Huff all of Ocala; FL; one brother, Sam Allen of St. Louis, and one sister, Mildred Lester of Olathe, KS
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Charles Sanders Jr., killed in military duty in Afghanistan
