PAULOS, Peter James
Born October 14, 1924 in Ely, Minnesota, Peter passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 4, 2013. Survived by his devoted wife Pat, sister Suzanne Poulos, daughter Pam (Rick) Cardoza, son James Paulos; grandchildren Melena and Lario Cortez, Tiffany Wray, Summer (Jorell) Allison, Demetria Wray, Jamie (Jeremy) Baum, Dannita Paulos, and many precious great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother and father Evangeline and James Poulos, daughter and granddaughter Lynnette and Shannan Loftis. Was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, graduated with a degree in business from Woodbury College in Los Angeles, CA, had a successful career with Farmers Insurance for 40 years retiring as a Director of Agencies with Ohio State Life Insurance in 1989. Peter spent his retirement years in Sun City Roseville, CA where he enjoyed playing golf, ballroom dancing with his wife, and attending social gatherings with their many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to thank Rock Creek Care Center in Auburn for their superior, compassionate care of Peter and his family in his final days. A memorial celebration will be held at Lambert Funeral Home on 400 Douglas Blvd. in Roseville, CA on Thursday, May 9 at 1pm. He will be buried with military honors at the Dixon National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to the American Heart Association .
