AUBURNDALE -- Mr. Moses "Marvin" Wilson of Auburndale died of respiratory failure Thursday (June 2, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 81.

Born July 12, 1923, in Lacoochee, he came here from there in 1932. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II. He was a float plant operator for American Cynamide Co., Mulberry for 39 years. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Auburndale.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Wilson; sons, Jackie Wilson, Auburndale, Tim Wilson, Orlando; daughter, Pat Mulder, Auburndale; brother, Ralph Wilson, Auburndale; sister, Evelyn Cowart, Auburndale; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Auburndale Memorial Park.
