Anne Wolfe, 90, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Dan Schoepf will officiate the funeral services. Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. All four of her children will be present to receive friends at visitation on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine History and Industry Center in care of the Pearl Button Museum.

Anne Margaretha Schmarje was born on July 12, 1922 on the family farm in Germany, the daughter of Fritz and Marie (Beckman) Schmarje. On August 25, 1940 Anne was united in marriage to Cecil Wolfe in Muscatine. She was a member of Calvary Church. She enjoyed reading, going on cruises, traveling, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Anne will be deeply missed by her four children, Dwight Wolfe and wife, Linda of Kenneth City, FL, Brian Wolfe and wife, Lori of Muscatine, Cheryl Juehring and husband, Gary of Muscatine and Heidi Anderson and husband, Paul of Muscatine; thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; an aunt and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Dennis in infancy; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
