Connie Diane Lowe-Luis was born in Vallejo, but lived most of her life in Escalon, where she attended Dent Elementary and Escalon High School. Connie's in-school interests included baton twirling, playing piano and clarinet, as well as participation in Eski High's song and cheer leading squads.

Graduating in 1973, Connie completed coursework at MJC before taking a job as a clerk for the Stanislaus County DA's Office.

In 1975, Connie married her high school sweetheart, and life's love, John Luis, a local dairyman. Married for thirty-seven years, they had two beloved children, John Eric in 1977 and Lisa Nicole in 1979. After John and Lisa were born, Connie stayed at home but later took a position at an area winery in the 1990's.

Parenting was everything to Connie but when she was not caring for family, or working at the winery, she enjoyed travel, antiquing, bowling, listening to music, gardening and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia in her spare time.

On May 1, Connie passed quietly in her sleep at the Community Hospice House in Hughson after a prolonged illness due to cancer.

She is survived by husband, John; children, John Eric and Lisa; grandson, Nathan Cole; sister, Robin; and brother, David.

She is preceded in death by father, On, brother, Leslie, mother, Betty, and brother, Rodney. We love you Connie and you will be soulfully missed by all.

Services will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 19401 Hwy 120, Ripon California.

Interment to follow at Burwood Cemetery, East River Road, Escalon with a reception to follow at St. Patrick's.
