Beth A. Miller (nee Williams), 83, of Bardstown, Kentucky, formerly of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday March 25, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, following a short illness.
She was born December 16, 1929 in Leemont, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Miller had resided in Bardstown for the past 16 years and prior to that, she had been a resident of Lorain County for many years.
Mrs. Miller was retired from North Ridgeville City Schools where she worked for many years at both Wilcox Elementary and North Ridgeville Middle School as a custodian and a play ground aid. She also worked as a nurse's aid at several area nursing homes.
She was an avid John Wayne fan and enjoyed watching his movies. She also enjoyed watching wrestling, taking care of pets and taking care of indoor plants.
Mrs. Miller is survived by; two daughters, Rebecca Swift of Bardstown, Kentucky and Karen Jarrell (Phil) of Bloomsfield, Kentucky; three sons, Chris Miller (Shirley) of Burksvilles, Kentucky, Gary Miller (Marty) of Elyria and Richard Miller of Bardstown, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Zelda Eans of Dunbar, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Miller in 1982, by one son, Roger Miller in 2011 and by several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 3, 2013 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
Burial will be private at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
