Betty Louis (Gottsch) Waller was born on October 16, 1931 in Pender, Nebraska, to Frank and Edna Gottsch. She was always active in church, sharing Jesus with children in Sunday School and participating in church activities and duties.
Betty married Janus Waller on August 31, 1951. She was the devoted mother of four children: Linda, Nancee, James and Jeffrey. She raised her own children as well as many others. The Waller house was an inviting place for all the kids on the block.
Betty was a well known face at Clarkfield Outdoors. She was a work partner to her husband in the Grain Bin Construction Business. She loved camping, gardening, long walks, dancing, campfires, cooking and playing games. She could be serious and humorous at the same time. She was always willing to take up the slack in every situation. She was a true servant.
Betty passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 81 years and 20 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Janus, her children: Linda, Nancee Waller, James, and Jeffrey, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
She was loved dearly.
