YOUNGSTOWN – A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Veronica Robinson will be held Thursday at noon at Washington Funeral Home. Mrs. Robinson departed this life May 2, 2013, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Robinson was born Nov. 25, 1955, in Hubbard, a daughter of Frank and Albertha Brown Perry.
She was a devoted wife and dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading and playing cards. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Joseph Robinson, whom she married March 18, 1972; her mother; her grandmother, Rose McCall; her loving daughters, Tina Robinson, Samona Robinson and her companion, Coleman Cooper, all of Youngstown, and Kenyatta Robinson and her fiancée, Damien Ruffin of Atlanta; her sons, Joseph L. and his wife, Mildred Robinson, and Michael Robinson, all of Youngstown; seven brothers; three sisters; her grandchildren, Asya Robinson, Aleemah Freeman, Amethyst Robinson, Brittney Robinson, Mical Robinson, Tyler Robinson, Endya Cooper, and London Cooper; her great-grandchildren, Jaylen and Aminah Robinson; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Chester and Annabell Perry; two brothers; a nephew, Amos Perry; and a niece, Letitia Perry.
Interment will be at Belmont Park Cemetery.
