Myrtle Lane, 87, of Paducah, passed away 9:38 am Saturday May, 4, 2013 at her daughter's home.
Mrs. Lane was a member of Bellview Baptist Church, and she retired from Western Baptist Hospital where she was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Leidecker and husband Albert of Paducah; two grandsons, Barry Leidecker and wife Sandy of Paducah, Danny Leidecker and wife Emily of Paducah; three great grandchildren, Brittany, Kinsey, and Addley Leidecker; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lane, two sisters, Sudie Satterwhite, of Mayfield, Alberta Headrick of Paducah; five brothers, Bill Byrd, Bob Byrd, Nelson Byrd, Buck Byrd, and Clyde Byrd all of Paducah. Her parents were Claude Cecil and Hattie May Hardin Byrd.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lane will be 11:00 am Tuesday May, 7, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Rev. Mike Nolen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Mrs. Lane will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, May, 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
