Calesta Johnson was born in Ohio, Nov. 5, 1814 in Ohio. She married Sylvester Bartholomew in Ohio, May 11, 1835. They were both members of the Methodist church in Rockton. Calesta died at the home of her son O. T. Bartholomew, July 27, 1989.
