Daniel Adam Cannon, 31, of Benson, NC died Thursday, March 25, 2013 in Smithfield, NC.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Padgett Funeral Home Chapel in Wallace, NC. Visitation was one hour prior to the services.

Mr. Cannon was born on May 26, 1981 in Jacksonville, NC. He is survived by his mother, Susan Davis Laurion and husband Daniel Patrick Laurion of Beulaville, NC, his father, Reuben Daniel Cannon and wife Becky of Hickory, NC, two children, Noah & Isabella Cannon, a sister, Alesa Cannon of Beulaville, NC, a brother, Shon Waggnor and wife Marion Vargas of Duluth, GA, a step-brother, Daniel Christopher Laurion and wife Hidie of Greenville, NC, a step-sister, Angela Laurion of Granite Falls, NC, grandparents, Marion and Erna Stone and several aunts and uncles.

Adam attended Hickory High School and graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree. He enjoyed playing on the computer and spending time with his children.
