Her parents were William P. & Anna (Jacobson) Carlson.
She grew up and was educated in Fort Dodge before moving to Minnesota with her family.
In 1927 she married Marion P. Andersen in Grove City. Marion died Oct 14, 1966. On Aug. 12, 1973 she married Frank Hoffman in Hancock. Frank died Nov. 14, 1985.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers; LeRoy, Alvin, and Raymond and a sister Inez Andersen.
