The funeral service for James R. Williams of Rte. 5, Eastman was held Sunday in the chapel of Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home with interment in Plainfield Cemetery.
Rev. Graham Bowen and Rev. Lewis Harrell officiated.
Pallbearers were James Selph, Ralph Knight, Hilton Knight, Boyd Hardwick, B.F. Horne and Claxton Beck.
Mr. Williams died Friday in Dodge County Hospital.
A native of Laurens County, Mr. Williams had lived in Dodge County most of his life. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ninnie P. Williams of Eastman; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Etheridge of Eastman; two sons, Johnny D. Williams and Franklin D. Williams, both of Eastman.
