MRS. STELLA BUTCHER, 87, OF GENEVA DIES

FUNERAL SUNDAY AT CHATTANOOGA FOR FORMER JEFF. TP. RESIDENT

Mrs. Stella Butcher, 87, of Geneva, widow of the late Eldridge Butcher, formerly of Jefferson Township, died last evening at 8:15 o'clock at the Van Rue Geriatric Center at Van Wert, Ohio, where she had been a patient for three days.

The deceased was a native of Jay County and was a daughter of Jacob and Louise Bartmess Houser, but lived most of her life in Adams County.

She is survived by the following children: Leota, wife of Ernest Bebout of Van Wert; Jessie, wife of Lewis Wendel of Chattanooga; Ruth, wife of Adam Reef of Decatur; Clell of Weirton, W. Va.; Paul of Wilmington, Ohio; Walter of Decatur and Gale of Rockford, O.

The body has been taken to the Hardy and Hardy Funeral Home in Geneva where it will be held until services, which will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Chattanooga Methodist Church. Burial will be in Daugherty Cemetery southeast of Geneva.
