Donnie Harold Ferguson, 78, of Norman passed away May 3, 2013. He was born August 11, 1934 to James & Nettie (Anderson) Ferguson. Donnie enjoyed watching OU football, old western movies & listening to classic country music. He is survived by 3 sons: Jeff Ferguson & wife Jacki of Texas, Stanley Ferguson & wife Shelly of Tuttle, OK, Jimmy Ferguson & wife Marla of Tuttle, OK; grandchildren: Heather Mercer, Jeffrey Austin, Chadwell Barrett, Mindy Hulsey, Candi Hulsey, Jessie Ferguson, Justin Ferguson, Jonathan Ferguson; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters: Martha Naomi Stewart of Norman, Jimmie Dean & husband Clifford of Newcastle; brother: Delbert Ferguson & wife Audrey of OKC; numerous nieces, nephews & other loving family members & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Velma Anderson, Marceille Griffith, Ruby Thalman, Marceda Davis; brothers: Edward, Kenneth & Carl Ferguson. The family wishes to thank the staff at Holiday Heights Nursing Home for their loving care. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel Moore, OK. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery Purcell, Ok. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
