Martha M. Day, 85, of Akron, died May 1, 1999, at the Hospice Care Center, after a six-month battle with cancer.
Born in Hannastown, Pa., Martha lived in San Bernardino, Calif., for 45 years before moving back to Akron in 1987.
Preceded in death by husband, Harold; parents, John and Josephine Yasosky; brother, John; and sister, Rose, she is survived by sisters, Ann Mortensen of Cuyahoga Falls, Betty A. Chinn of Akron; sister-in-law, Eileen Yasosky of Tallmadge; nieces and nephews, and many friends at Chapel Hill Towers.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 12:30 p.m., at Annunciation Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E.
