Kaja was my Godmother and Aunt. She was born in korsoer, Denmark where she lived until her death.
On may the 20´th 1942 she got Married to her beloved Helge Birch.
They never got their own children, but took really good care of us when we were kids. She had a special relationship to her neighbor´s son Rasmus, she loved him like her own son.
The day she passed away, Rasmus was there holding her hand. She was there for him from the day he was born and He was there holding her hand while she died. That thought makes me happy, because he was the most perfect person to show her the way to God.
She slipped into a deep sleep and Rasmus mother rushed to call her son, Aunt kaja died 10 minutes after Rasmus arrived to the hospital, she was waiting for him, we all know that. It was ment to be like that. She will be missed by many.

You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why

A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died

In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill

It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home.

Rest in Peace beloved Aunt Kaja.
