Julie Noel Phillips, 60, of Spotsylvania County passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at her residence.

She is survived by three sons, John McCarthy of Alexandria, Jason Phillips and his wife, Mary, of Roxanna, Del., and Errol Phillips of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Kendall E. Phillips, Emily N. Phillips and Logan E. Phillips; three siblings, Marylyn Roussey of Bel Air, Md., Rodrick Storrs of Oxford, Mass., and Janice Hughes of Pinehurst, N.C.; her nephew, Mark Roussey, his wife, Faith, and their children, Kara, Jacob, Hannah and Nathan; two nieces; Diane Roussey and Danielle Roussey; and her ex-husband, John McCarthy, of College Park, Md.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Park Cemetery in Canton, Pa.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tallpines Ave., Locust Grove, Va. 22508.
