Roy Lee Rash, 86, Jackson Tower, Campbellsville, died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Tennessee and the son of the late Jesse Rash and Flora Graybeal Rash. Rash was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Rash, and his wife, Bessie Rash. He is survived by two sons and five daughters, Howard Lee Rash, Beverly Rodgers, and Dwalla Akridge, all of Campbellsville, Melvin Rash, Indiana, Charlotte Hicks, Ohio, Bernita Murphy, Liberty, and Fona Weintraut, Indiana; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Ruby Clements, Ohio; several other relatives and many friends. The funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 1993, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Tim O'Dell and the Rev. Don Gowin officiated.
