TOWN OF MEEME WOMAN CALLED TO HER FINAL REST Mrs. Louis Oehmichen, pioneer town of Meeme woman, passed away at the home of her son, Louis, at Spring Valley, Sunday night, aged 73, death being due to infirmities of age. Funeral services will be held from the Arends funeral parlors at Howards Grove probably Wednesday, with burial at the Evangelical cemetery at Spring Valley.
Decedent was born May 25, 1857, in the town of Mosel and had spent her entire life in this vicinity. She married Mr. Oehmichen fifty-three years ago and he passes away a year ago, the couple having celebrated their golden wedding two years previously.
Survivors are six daughters and four sons, Mrs. Ernest Witthuhn, Meeme; Mrs. Walter Ebeling, Colby; Mrs. Chas. Gersmehl, Newton; Mrs. Fred Bogenschuetx, Centerville; Mrs. Arthur Knoll, Sheboygan; Mrs. John Schwartz, Meeme; Louis on the old homestead; Edwin at Colby; William at Random Lake, and Amos at Sheboygan. Two brothers, Herman at Sheboygan and John, whose wereabouts are unknown; and a sister, Mrs. Peter Melger, Sheboygan, also survive.
