Adolph Oehmichen, 90, Meeme resident for the past seventy-six years, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Langenhahn.
He was born in Germany in 1841 and came to this country with his parents and for 76 years lived on the homestead where he died yesterday.
On January 9, 1867 he was married to Miss Christina Sohn and to this union eight children were born, three of whom survive. They are Reinhold Oehmichen, Kiel, and Mrs. E. Langenhahn, town of Meeme. There are also eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great-
great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Henschel. Mrs. Oehmichen preceded her husband in death Nov. 23, 1912.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at 2 o'clock from the St. Jacobi church at Spring Valley.
