John Adolph Eberhard, age 92, born February 23, 1916, at Galloway, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, Columbus, Ohio, where he received excellent care, as has Helen, his beloved wife of 48 years.


John is survived by two daughter's; a sister, Marie Gilkey of Delaware, Ohio; and two grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by parents, Adolph and Mary (Lehnert) Eberhard and nine brothers and sisters.


John was a long-time employee of Abex, (formerly Dennison Engineering) and a member of Christ Lutheran Church. A master carver, he enjoyed painting and creating Buckeye memorabilia.
