Born October 11, 1927 in Chico, CA, and died on April 26, 2013 in Placerville, CA.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Armand) Novelo, Lisa Reed; sons, Tony (Becky) and Tim ( June) Sherman. Also by her sister, Shirley (Kay) Barnes.

Gloria was a grandmother to Isaac (Jill) and Nathan (Katie) Novelo, Tim (Eunice), Brianne and Ryan Sherman, Ross and Jenna Reed, and Michelle (Ethan) Sletten. She was a great grandmother to 10 and she had numerous nieces & nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her brothers, Gerald and Donn Rogers, and her sister Betty Fortna. She was also preceded by her parents, Mable and Anthony Rogers.

She grew up in Marysville, CA, and attended Norte Dame grammar and high school. As an adult, she worked for the County of Humboldt in the purchasing department for many years.

Her hobbies included reading, crafts and her family. Her family was most important to her with many holidays at her home.

At her request, there will be no services.
