William Irvine "Bill" Barber, 84, of Tallahassee, died on February 16, 2013 in Tallahassee. He was born on February 25, 1928 in Cordele, GA to Hoke and Elizabeth Barber. He was a graduate of Leon High School and Florida State University. He married Kathryn Lorraine Scott June 22, 1950 in Tallahassee. He was a former teacher at Leon High School and owned Barber Electronics, Inc.
He is survived by a son Ed Barber and his wife Patricia of Tallahassee; daughter, Allyson Daughenbaugh of Gainesville, GA; son-in-law, John Peth of Tallahassee; three grandchildren, Kathleen Peth, Amanda Barber and Justin Barber.
He is preceded in death by his wife, a daughter Betty Rose Peth and his parents, Hoke and Elizabeth Barber.
