Sharon Sue Perkins of West Liberty, KY., passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY., at the age of 73 years, 6
months, and 29 days.
She was born on Wednesday, October 4, 1939, at Salem, KY., a daughter of the late Vernie Courtney and Bertell Nickell Montgomery.
Sue was a 1958 graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield, OH. She was united in marriage to William Robert Perkins. She was a Domestic Engineer, cleaning homes for several for over 28 years and also was owner of Sue's Country Store at Buskirk for a couple of years. She was a Christian and a member of the Grace Baptist Church at Malone, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Lilly Patrick, and her aunt, Dora Gose.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Perkins, four grandchildren, Heather Patrick, Dallas Patrick, Keri Leigh Patrick, and Wyatt Mapel, one brother, Kevin Howell of Roanoke, MI., and first cousin, Richard Gose of North Carolina.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Lindon officiating. Burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.
Visitation 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Kenny Perkins, Mike Gevedon, Richard Gose, Kevin Howell, Dallas Patrick, and Jessie Perkins.
