Judy Stinnett McManus MURRELLS INLET - Judy Stinnett McManus, 69, of Murrells Inlet, SC went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 3, 2012, in Durham, NC. She was born in Gaston County, NC and was the daughter of the late Ruel and Annie Wright Stinnett. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John C. McManus; daughters, Kimberly McManus Walker and husband, Jimmy; Julie McManus Farlow and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Genevieve, Sophia, Adeline and Hayden; sisters, Peggy Stinnett of Bessemer City, NC and Joyce Carswell of Bessemer City, NC; and beloved nieces, Carol, Carmen and Candace. The family would like to thank Judy's dearest friends, Gladys Francavilla and Nancy Russell for being Judy's "Angels on Earth". Judy enjoyed sewing, spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was a huge Elvis fan listening to his music over and over. A Cryptside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 8th at the Garden of Serenity Mausoleum at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Pastor Buddy Pigg will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preston Tisch Brain Tumor Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710. Arrangements are in the care of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service.
