Michael A. East, 46, Frankfort, died unexpectedly at 10:37 p.m. May 20, 2006, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
Mr. East graduated from Frankfort High School in 1979 and served in the U.S. Army 1979-1991 in Korea. He had worked in the grocery business 1991-2000. He was a former member of Eagles Lodge.
He was born February 28, 1960, in Frankfort, to Phil A. and Phyllis Baker East.
Surviving are his father of Frankfort; a daughter, Alyshia, of Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Vickie) Shaff and Tina Gish of Frankfort; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2002.
