Services for Mrs. Allen in Benton
Funeral services for Mrs. Aledra Allen, 57, of Benton, will be held Tuesday at 11am at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton.
The Rev. Woodsin will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton. Friends may call after 1pm today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen died Saturday in Franklin Hospital, Benton. She apparently suffered a cerebral vascular accident. She had been a patient for two days.
She was born April 27, 1914, in Bonne Terre, Mo., the daughter of James and Irvilla Glover.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Ernest Allen of Benton; her parents of Miami, Fl.;
two stepchidren, Harley Allen of Iowa City, Iowa, and Mrs. Helen Jean Brannon of Springfield; and a sister, Mrs. Norma Jean Hill of Miami.
