Sadie Grace Huffman Gill was born in Meigs twp, Muskingum, Ohio to Her parents Abraham (Abram) Huffman and Emeline Pearson. She went by the name of 'GRACE' all of her life. Her siblings are Ida Belle Huffman Dickson 1882-1966; Hattie May Huffman 1885-1905; Mary Huffman Moore 1888-1925; Infant Girl 1891-1891; Florence Leslie Huffman 1897-1913; Etta Olive Huffman Roth 1901-1982. She married James Alonzo (Jasper Lonzo) Gill, 15 Jun 1916, High Hill, Meigs twp, Muskingum, Ohio. The children born to this union Florence Irene 1917-2012; Allen Leslie Gill 1919-2009; James Delmar 1921-2009. After the death of her husband she became a housekeeper for Owen Kingston, until his death. She also help rear her sister Mary's children, upon her death. Her one son and neice had to go to her parents to live because of no fault of her own. She lived at the farm after Owen died and it became the property of Dwight, her nephew. In 1968, she moved to Chandlersville, Muskingum, Ohio.She lived there until it was determined that she couldn't live by herself. Then she lived with family members until she entered into the Parmiter Nursing Home in Malta, Morgan, Ohio, then at the ODC Nursing Home, Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio, where she died. She was a member of the Ark Springs Baptist Church for many years, until her death.
