NOTE: A Montgomery County grand jury indicted a man Friday in connection with the death of a woman who was reported missing in 2003, police said. It's now the second murder case for Bass Webb.

Webb, 30, of Means was indicted on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence, said Montgomery County Sheriff Fred Shortridge.

Webb is accused of killing Sabrina Marie Vaughn. Skeletal remains found Jan. 14 in rural Powell County are thought to be those of Vaughn, but there has been no positive identification yet, Shortridge said.

However, Shortridge — who has said he is "99.9 percent sure that's who it is" — said there is enough other evidence to indict Webb on a murder charge. He would not go into detail about that evidence.
