At 86,she died at her home.She was born in Poland, and at the age of 12, her family moved to France. In 1946 during World War II, she met a soldier, Robert J. Phillips, and they married. She had resided in Watchung for 29 years before moving to Piscataway four years ago.Mr. and Mrs. Phillips owned the Green Brook Bowling Lanes in Green Brook for 55 years. After her husband's death in 1983, she continued running the business until her retirement in 2000.She is survived by her daughter, Diane F.; a son, Benjamin A.; a sister, Odette; 7 grandchildren.
