Tony was born on August 23, 1925 at Bluffton, MN to Henry and Bernadine (Schmiesing) Roggenkamp. He was raised on a farm and attended school in Bluffton. He served his country in the US Army. He was united in marriage with Margaret "Muggs" Mary Wynn on May 17, 1948 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton.
Tony spent his lifetime farming in Bluffton. After retiring, he lived in Wadena and Hewitt. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton and St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena. He enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting and spending time with Muggs and their family.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Bernadine; brothers Henry, Peter, Joseph, and Alphonse; sisters Regina, Rose, Flora, Leona and Dorothy; and grandchildren Christina Roggenkamp, Jacob Roggenkamp, Mark Roggenkamp and Joseph Sampson.
He is survived by his wife Margaret of nearly 65 years; children Thomas (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ, John of Ironton, MN, Doris (Keith) Kosse of Fargo, ND, Donald (Mary) of Fergus Falls, MN, Daniel (Denise) of Butte, MT, Henry (Kim) of Wadena, Joan (John) Malone of Wadena, MaryAnn (Steve) Sampson of Fergus Falls, and William of Glenwood, MN; sister Colette Wynn of Wadena, sister-in-law Arlene Wynn of Wadena, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Soenneker, Tom Ament, Harvey Primus, Leroy Keppers and Nick Kerzman. Pallbearers are Gary Kluenenberg, Jim Roggenkamp, Jeff Wynn, Randy Mohs, Jim Wynn, Jim Hegarty.
Military honors will be provided by the Elmer Goche Post 3922, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wadena, MN.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Bluffton.
