FALL CREEK - The funeral will be held Oct. 21 for Juston H. Cochran of Fall Creek, who died Oct. 16 of cancer. He was 48.

Cochran was born March 29, 1955, in Eugene to Clyde and Gladys Marshall Cochran . He married Kara Walsh in Fall Creek on May 22, 1999.

He was a lifetime resident of this area, and he lived in Eugene and Springfield before settling in Fall Creek.

He graduated from Willamette High School in 1973. He served in the Army from 1973 until 1979. He worked as a journeyman plasterer for many years. He later worked as a long-haul flatbed truck driver for 25 years.

He was an avid archer and a member of the Green Valley Archery Club. He also belonged to Twin Rivers Baptist Church in Springfield. He enjoyed his job and golf. He especially enjoyed spending time on his deck with his wife.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Eugene; three sons, Jesse Cochran of Eugene, Cory Nelson of Longview, Wash., and Derek Nelson of Fall Creek; three brothers, Jerry of Elmira, Ed of Cheshire and Clyde of Ketchikan, Alaska; a sister, Ginger Bellino of Veneta; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene. Tuesday's service will be held at 1 p.m. at Twin Rivers Baptist Church in Springfield. Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of McKenzie-Willamette Hospital.
