GRACE L. ZUNKER

Grace L. Zunker, age 94, a resident of Kindred Hearts, Manitowoc entered into
eternal life on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center.
Grace was born on March 4, 1918 in Manitowoc to the late Philip and Augusta
Adler Hartl. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1936. On
August 12, 1939, Grace married Raymond Zunker at the parsonage of an Evangelical
Lutheran church in Dubuque, Iowa. Ray preceded her in death on September 12,
2007. She was employed at Mirro Corporation as a secretary for many years. Grace
was a very creative and helpful person. She enjoyed painting, writing poetry,
going to the beach, gardening, and ice skating on the river. Grace was a member
of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Raymond, grandson: Mark
Zunker.
The family will great relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral
Home on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial
service at 2 p.m. Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to take place
at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Following the memorial service, a
luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the
south property of the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets,
Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
