He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Kisamore of near Onego, W.Va., on Spruce Mountain.
He was accidently killed while driving a team in the woods about 2 1/2 miles from home.
Some men while cutting timber against the hill above him, cut a large tree running down near him in the hollow, striking a small stump leaving the hollow struck him, knocking him against a tree and instantly met death.
He was immediately taken to Horton by train and prepared for burial.
The following day his body was brought home accompanied by the undertaker C.C. Long of Harman, W.Va., arriving that evening.
He had been a member of the Mennonite church for several years and remained faithful to the end.
On January 2nd funeral services were conducted at home by his pasture, R.W. Bermer.
He leaves to mourn his loss father, mother, two brothers, Riley at home and Garry of near Portwood, W.Va., and one sister Mrs. Clay Dolly who resides on the home farm, a host of friends and relarives.
His remains were laid to rest in the family cemetery overlooking his home to await the resurrection.
