Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Barker Benson were held Sunday afternoon at the Coppersmith Funeral Home with the Rev. Oliver H.R.Kraft, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in Newton Cemetery.
Mrs. Benson died Thursday at Maple View Rest Home, Coudersport, where she had been a guest for the last six months.
She was born in Emporium August 13, 1878, the daughter of the late George and Martha Housler Barker, pioneer Cameron county residents. She was married to Bernard Benson who died in 1935.
Mrs. Benson is survived by one sister, Miss Cora Barker, also a guest at Maple View Rest Home, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Larry Caton, Earl Caton, Donald Caton, George Ellis, Carl Carlson and Guy Bauer, Jr.
